About the PFA
What is the Parent Faculty Association (PFA)?
The PFA is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support educational activities at Red Oak Elementary.
Our two primary functions are:
To raise funds to provide educational programs, materials and services for the school
To maintain a line of communication between home and school
Membership
The Red Oak PFA is comprised of people just like you that want to be involved in your child's school and education. We are all volunteers. We assist the principal, teachers, staff and students through our efforts. There is an annual membership fee of $15. As a general member, you will also be able to vote on the PFA budget for the school year as well as the slate of officers for the following year's governing board.

Who is on the Governing Board?
The PFA Board is made up of parents of Red Oak students who hold positions as elected Officers and appointed Chair people. In addition, there are three Red Oak staff members.
Officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary
School Principal, Office Manager, Teacher Representative
Parliamentarian
Committee Chair People
